The speculative fiction anthology Another Australia showcases 12 boundary-pushing First Nations writers and writers of colour exploring all that is and could exist in our version of Australia. Song lines, social media, fortune telling and the erasure of Indigenous histories are among the many backdrops for stories of love, revolution and sovereignty. In this panel event, the anthology’s editor, Winnie Dunn, speaks with contributors Osman Faruqi, Declan Fry and Sisonke Msimang about reimagining Australia and its literature, reckoning with its history and the craft of short-form storytelling.
Another Australia is published by Affirm Press in partnership with Sweatshop Literacy Movement in association with Diversity Arts Australia.
